25th Message - [Accidental Video]
[The feed flickers on to reveal Dulcie seated in a arm chair. She's dressed neater than usual, in a short sleeved sweater and pedal pushers. Her usual pink hair is now a platinum blonde, curled and styled around her head. A cigarette dangles at the end of one hand, which she periodically brings to her lips and takes a long drag from. Her other hand is holding a book. She shifts slightly in her seat, to reveal that she is reading 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Female.' She reads something on the page which makes her giggle a little, and take another long drag from her cigarette. After a few moments, the feed cuts out.]

NO, WAIT, I CHANGED MY MIND
You know, if girls spent half as much time indulging in sexual behaviour as they do reading about it, the world would be a much better place.

Less uptight, anyway.

[A beat. Maybe he should try bribery.] I'll take you for a ride. [Bikes > books, right?]

You knocked. Practicing to be a gentleman today?
no subject
[Okay, he totally isn't. But he knows what she thinks of stealing and if he's nice maybe that'll stop her asking where he got his bike. Or at least stop her getting so annoyed over it.]

[She steps in to kiss him. The height difference isn't as big a deal today. She should really wear three-inch heels more often.]

You want a drink?
[Drinking and driving - still socially acceptable in the 1950s!]

[He doesn't wait for an answer, giving her a light shove so he can follow her inside.]

[She leads him through into her small and chaotic kitchen. Everything's very pistachio and pink and has lots of gleaming metal and smooth curves. She riffles through her very well-stocked liquor cabinet and pours them both a drink.]
no subject
[As if to prove it, he lights them both a cigarette whilst she's sorting the drinks. Although if she left any lying around, it's entirely possible they were hers to begin with.]

So where are we going today?
no subject
Don't know. Where do you want to go?
no subject
I don't mind. It's the getting there that's the real fun.
no subject
Really? I always find it's the being there that makes it worth it, personally.

[Nathan puts down his glass, going to kiss her neck again. That ought to distract her.]

I just better not find you in a brand new car tomorrow, is all.

[Clearly her opinion is the most awesome one.]

I'm sure I can arrange that somehow. Pour me another drink, then we can get going.
