[The camera opens to a very close shot of a girl’s face. She is leaning towards the camera, a look of intense curiosity on her face. She backs up a little, revealing a young woman with pink hair in a battered breastplate and pleated mini-skirt.]

Is this thing recording? Hello? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

[She waves a little at the camera.]

So basically, I have no clue where I am. Anybody wanna help a girl out? I swear this totally isn’t like me. Usually when I randomly find myself in a new place with no recollection of getting there it’s for a good reason.

If anyone lets me know what’s going on I can totally give them... [she digs around inside her armour and pulls out a half-eaten bag of jelly belly’s.]

…four to five jelly beans. But that’s all I’m parting with.

Plus I’ll be super-duper-mega grateful?

[Dulcie does her best pouty-face and makes a praying motion with her hands. She reaches forwards to turn off the device. As she does, something large and white unfurls in the corner of the screen. A large white wing fills the screen, spray-painted with a giant star. Dulcie winks at the camera, and cuts transmission.]

Well, it's often a job requirement of mine. But usually I get at least some debriefing.

[Dulcie reaches into her bag of jelly belly's and selects a pear one, then holds it out for Tommy.]

Pocket universe. [He inspects her choice critically, but takes it and pops it in his mouth anyway.] Called the City. Nothing else. It sorta sucks in people from all over the multiverse, like a really crummy reality T.V. show.

[Dulcie shakes out both wings. A few chips of paint and some of the smaller down feathers are shook loose, as well as one long, white flight feather. Dulcie grabs it and hold it out to the camera.]
